Chebloch Gorge: Baringo, Kenya

Chebloch Gorge is gorgeous, no pun intended; however it could be easy to miss by driving by. If you have the chance to take a moment to stop and explore, we would highly recommend it. While we got to enjoy the scenic view, we also found out some interesting history from the past. For example, in colonial times those who opposed the government were ascended to death, being thrown into the gorge; therefore the local Kenyan’s believe the site to be haunted by the spirits of those lost. Although we didn’t climb down the large rocks, we were told that quick sand is present, as well as crocodiles.
