Lake Victoria and Bondo University College: Kisumu & Bondo, Kenya

Bondo University College is an up and coming institution that will be starting their second calendar year this fall. Many faculty and professors have jumped on board in hopes to see their college expand and grow. With this vision, a new facility, sports and tourism learning lab and resort are being considered. The proposed site of this new facility is a 100 acre donated piece of land on a hilltop overlooking Lake Victoria, just a short distance from Bondo. The land was donated by local residents, showing that they would like to see tourism, and sports tourism in particular, grow in their region. Lake Victoria is the second largest fresh water lake in the world, used by many locals for fishing, plus the natural ambiance that the lake creates.
